SIGNORA ESTRADA (ZIGGY) 

Breed type: TB mare (by Rhythm)

Known as Ziggy, we purchased this mare from Astek stud in the South Island . She was selected by them due to her pedigree, her good looks and her exceptional movement – which she has stamped on her progeny.

Ziggy’s pedigree includes Lunchtime, a TB sire known for producing excellent horses who have been in demand for careers in the show ring. Ziggy’s lines also include the well regarded stallion Battle-Waggon. All in all she is an excellent prospect for crossing with warmblood stallions to produce stunningly good looking horses with excellent potential for high levels of competition.

In March 2010, she was assessed by Matthias Werner as part of the Trakehner classification tour and even though she refused to show off her ground covering movement and floating extensions – she was evaluated as a Premium mare none the less, a result which we are thrilled about.

Ziggy is currently in foal to Xhogun Middelsom for a top Knabstrupper who will be eligible for KNN papers from the Danish studbook. We can't wait for this one!!
